New Energy New York

New Energy New York is establishing a robust network of industry, academic, non-profit, and government organizations to grow a competitive battery development and manufacturing hub. 

 

On Oct 20th, 2022 Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and US Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development Alejandra Castillo spoke at Binghamton University regarding the $113 million award for battery research and development that will impact the Broome County Region.

Our very own Executive Director Jen Gregory also was part of the program in the roundtable questions tacking the topic discussing our region and why the importance of applying for this EDA fund.
